Well, It’s Nice to See You is a heartfelt short film about Danny, a boy struggling to accept the changes in his family after his parents divorce. When his mum begins a new relationship with Nick, Danny fears losing what remains of the family he knew and tries to push Nick away with impulsive plans that quickly get out of hand.
What starts as sabotage becomes a confrontation with Danny’s grief, anger, and fear of being replaced. As their interactions shift from tension to unexpected warmth, Danny begins to see that Nick is not the threat he imagined but someone offering the support he never realised he needed. The film explores the quiet, messy process of growing up, taking responsibility, and learning to heal as families change and new connections form in unexpected ways.
